    Wl8a-pro, WL15A direct reading spectrum analyzer low detection limit. When spark light source is used for solid metal and alloy samples, the detection limit can reach 1 ~ 10 ppm, which is limited to the analysis of homogeneous solid metal materials.
    The application of photoelectric direct reading spectrometer in the field of material analysis is complicated.
    One of the most widely used areas is the steel industry, iron and steel are a ferrous metal. Materials with carbon content greater than 2.14% are usually called iron (cast iron), and iron matrix alloys with carbon content lower than this are called steel. According to the different content range of elements in the material, the steel is divided into carbon steel (containing C, Si, Mn, P, S five elements, also called plain carbon steel or carbon steel), low alloy steel (on the basis of plain carbon steel adding other alloy elements to change the mechanical and chemical properties of the material, the total alloying element is less than 5%), medium alloy steel (the total alloying element content is between 5% and 10% on the basis of plain carbon steel), high alloy steel (the total alloying element content is more than 10% on the basis of plain carbon steel).In direct reading spectrum analysis, different materials are carried out in different analysis procedures, so it is more practical to classify materials according to element content.
